Change Management

Introduction
Incremental and transformational change is becoming more and more part of everyday working life. This holding true of all levels of the organisation. Carried out effectively it can be seen as a positive activity that brings about improvement and competitive edge. Carried out incorrectly it can be a negative experience that has long-term effects on performance.

Format
Training will be held in a relaxed, friendly environment, which is conducive to the learning process. Delegates will be actively encouraged to take part in every aspect. The whole period will be highly participative with formal trainer input being complemented by exercises, discussions and regular feedback sessions.
Delegates will need to log the main learning points as the course progresses. This will ensure that not only workshop objectives are being met, but help delegates develop appropriate workplace action plans.

Aims
This workshop will review the increasingly important process of bringing about effective change. In doing so, allow delegates to explore the key features, tools and techniques of effective change.

Objectives
By the end of the workshop programme delegates will return to the workplace better able to:

• Recognise why effective change is necessary
• Plan and carry out effective change
• Employ a range of tools and techniques to afford the above
• Recognise the effects change has on individuals and apply appropriate strategies to overcome same
• Demonstrate effective change agent competencies
• Understand the need for effective communication, leadership, motivation
• Apply personal workplace improvement action plans
