CIEH Stress Awareness
Course Title
CIEH Stress Awareness
Duration
1 Day Course
Introduction
We all have to deal with pressures in both our private and our working lives, it is when these pressures lead to stress that problems can arise. Stress is likely to affect all of us at some time in our lives. It is how we learn to deal with this and reduce it that will dictate the levels of stress that we will experience or pass on to others. Stress is a recognised occupational illness and increased publicity, compensation and legal action has clearly shown that the general awareness of stress related illness is on the increase. It therefore should be treated as any other work place hazard.
Format
Training will be held in a relaxed, friendly environment, which is conducive to the learning process. Delegates will be actively encouraged to take part in every aspect. The whole period will be highly participative with formal trainer input being complemented by exercises, discussions and regular feedback sessions.
Delegates will need to log the main learning points as the course progresses. This will enable them to not only ensure that objectives are being met, but help in the formulation of workplace action plans.
