Certificate in Starting Your Own Business

INTRODUCTION :
This programme covers a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge required by anyone starting up their own business, or a discrete business unit within a larger organisation . The assessments have been devised to be of practical value to the business start up prosess.

COST :
£750 + vat (price quoted in inclusive of awarding body registration, assessments and study material)
DURATION :
A minimum of 95 guided learning hours, excluding assessments. Candidates must complete this course within a maximum of 2 years.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :
No prior qualification required, however, candidates should already have an initial business idea and should have a background that is sufficient to allow them to benefit from the programme.
UNITS / MODULES :
6 modules (each module may be studied and certificated separately.
Each module comprises of 5 segments.
ASSESSMENT METHOD :
5 short assessments and 1 Business Plan of about 1500 words plus relevant financial forecasts.
UPON COMPLETION :
Successful candidates will be awarded the ILM Certificate in Starting Your Own Business.
