COURSE TITLE :
Introductory Certificate in Starting Your Own Business

LEVEL :
Level 3

INTRODUCTION :
This programme is suitable for anyone who is considering starting their own business or is setting up a discrete business unit within a larger organisation. This programme is designed to cover the key areas to ensure the learner has a strong basic knowledge of the subject.

COST :
£650 + vat (price quoted in inclusive of awarding body registration, assessments and study material)

DURATION :
A minimum of 34 guided learning hours, excluding assessment and must be completed within a year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :
No previous qualification necessary though participants should already have an initial business idea. They should have a background that is sufficient to allow them to benefit from the programme.

UNITS / MODULES :

ASSESSMENT METHOD :
1 outline of your Business Plan of approximately 1000 words plus relevant financial forecasts.

UPON COMPLETION :
Successful candidates will be awarded the ILM Introductory Certificate in Starting Your Own Business and may choose to advance to the ILM (full) Certificate in Starting Your Own Business or the ILM Level 4 in Business Development.
