Our first candidate success story features Emma Waugh and Claire McDougall from Heaton.
Congratulations to Emma Waugh and Claire McDougall of Heaton Dental Clinic on recently completing their Level 3 full certificate in First Line Management! Gordon Spencer, their Assessor is extremely pleased with their success and says it was definitely their hard consistent work that has seen them through this programme shortly after they had previously completed their introductory level on the same course. "Emma and Claire showed great commitment and tenacity and it was a great pleassure to work with them on their qualification".
Emma and Clare, have worked at the Heaton Dental Clinic for 8 years and 5 and a half years respectively and during that time, they have proven themselves to be invaluable members of staff. About a year ago, Emma was promoted to Clinical Manager and Claire, from a dental nurse, was promoted to Practice Manager.
"I felt like I was not confident enough to deal with many situations and that it would be difficult to become a senior member of staff over the colleagues I had worked along side with all these years" says Emma who is happy that Claire and herself chose to proceed with this qualification with Dunelm Associates. "Once we started, we knew we had made the right choice".
"From the list of higher learning centres provided to us by Business Link, it was Dunelm Associates that were able to meet all our needs", says Claire who is also very pleased that it was always possible to contact Dunelm Associates and speak to anyone for prompt answers and advice. "This qualification has helped me alot in my job. It has taught me how to handle difficult situations and keep the team motivated. I feel confident and competent enough with any situation now!"
To any Trainer or Assessor, that is music to the ears! A more cofident and capable individual is surely the reward of education. As Emma sums it up quite simply, "Overall, I am very much a more confident and happier team player!"
It has been a pleasure working with Claire and Emma and we are so happy to have been allowed to be a part of their success. We wish them the best of luck in everything they do and all the success they deserve!
